Quite sometime ago DoveNetQ advised customers to stop using proxy server settings for web access. The new dialup service will not work with the previous proxy settings.
To remove these settings for Internet Explorer in Windows...
Click on Tools on the top menu bar then select Internet Options...

Click Connections...

Select your dialup connection and click Settings...

Remove the tick from the check box labelled "Use a proxy server for this connection"

Click on OK to save these settings.
